Two hunters will travel to New Zealand’s North Island for a 5-day, 2x1 guided bronze medal Red Stag hunt, donated by Wildside Hunting Safaris. Method of take is hunter’s choice. Schedule with outfitter for open dates March–July 2026 or 2027; contact outfitter for details. The hunt may be upgraded to a larger stag or taken free-range. Wildside Hunting Safaris is owned and operated by Gerald and Brenda Fluerty. Gerald, a fifth-generation professional hunter with more than 35 years of experience, has successfully guided hundreds of clients throughout his career. Observers are welcome and may accompany hunters in the field or enjoy photography, trout fishing, hiking, or nearby activities such as jet boating, horseback riding, kayaking, alpine trekking, sightseeing, cultural tours, winery visits, and shopping for genuine New Zealand gifts. Included are accommodations, meals, guide service, trophy fees for one bronze medal Red Stag per hunter, and field prep. Not included are before/after hunt expenses, airfare, non-hunter activities, firearm permit, taxidermy, packaging/shipping of trophies, and gratuities. Additional hunters are welcome at $550 per day plus trophy fees, and non-hunters at $250 per day. The hunt may be extended for $800 per day plus fees, with the option to add additional game at the outfitter’s current rates. Arrival/departure point is Taupo Airport.
