Located on Iliamna Lake, Alaska, just a 45-minute air taxi flight from Anchorage, the operation sits on the world-famous Alaskan Peninsula between Lake Clark and Katmai National Park & Preserves—geographically known as some of the most game-rich environments in North America. Bushwhack Alaska specializes in adventure experiences in remote parts of Alaska, catering to true adventure enthusiasts seeking unforgettable experiences. Alaska Moose are the largest animals in the deer family worldwide. The massive hunting area includes mountains, swampy flats, tundra, river valleys, and coastal areas. To effectively hunt this diverse concession, they utilize float planes, wheel planes, jet boats, and rafts. The hunt combines spot-and-stalk and calling techniques. During the September rut, bulls are often called into archery range, with some bulls averaging 63 inches. Included are tent accommodations, meals, one best available Moose, and field prep.
